The External Organs of Generation in the Female are: the mons Veneris, the labia majora and minora, the clitoris, the meatus urinarius, and the orifice of the vagina.
The term “vulva” or “pudendum,” as generally applied, includes all these parts.
The Mons Veneris is the rounded eminence in front of the pubis symphysis, formed by a collection of fatty tissue beneath the integument.
It becomes covered with hair at the time of puberty.

The Labia Majora are two prominent longitudinal cutaneous folds extending downward from the mons Veneris to the anterior boundary of the perinæum, and enclosing the common urino-sexual opening.
Each labium has two surfaces, an outer, which is pigmented and covered with strong, crisp hairs;
And inner, which is smooth and is beset with large sebaceous follicles and is continuous with the genito-urinary mucous tract;
Between the two there is a considerable quantity of areolar tissue, fat,

It happened that the savant Aabou Nouass was walking through the gardens, among the palms and lilies and peacocks.

There also Djoâidi had been watching a number of men intent upon a woman of renowned opulence and immeasurable beauty.

The woman was seated upon a divan; and one after the other the men would sit beside her to hold her knee, offer her gifts and whisper in her ear.

With each she would listen to his quiet entreaties, then brush her hand along his sleeve and give whispers of her own in return.

Djoâidi asked, “Has she so many lovers?”

Aabou Nouas replied, “It is as though she were the emperor’s daughter, with these men endlessly plying her suit, courting her favors, seeking her benefice.

Each believes himself the only one privy to her kept desires, to her tender secrets.

Each believes himself the only one she wishes to sit beside her.
