A blog for discussion about poetry, poetics, and aesthetic literature in general. Originally limited to exploring poems found on the Poetry Daily site and the Verse Daily site. Over time it has expanded to include material from other online sources of poetic texts, as well as well-known works and even some theoretical explorations.

Much of the original motivation behind the blog was that I found no other blog or site about poetry (or literature in general) written to the writer interested in writing aesthetic texts: that is, the writer interested in creating works of beauty, rather than writers interested merely in writing poems. Though the subject of the posts has expanded, that idea continues to be the central idea of the project that is that blog.
